Nautitech creates a new category !
The emphasis has been placed on performance and ease of manoeuvring, but not only that…
Announced on the first day of the International Multihull Show 2025, the Nautitech 41 Type S replaces the Nautitech 40 Open, and creates a new category. Nautitech has announced that it will cease production of the Nautitech 40 Open.
This move is part of a desire to take the brand into a new era of personalisation and sustainability, and to move away from the standardised approach of the world of cruising catamarans.
In terms of interior design, an ergonomic cockpit opening onto a redesigned saloon ensures that passengers can move around freely and enjoy optimum panoramic views. Nautitech also aims to constantly improve safety and passenger comfort on board.
Durability has also been the watchword in the design of the Nautitech 41 Type S. The simplicity of the lines has been rethought so that every shape is optimised, offering a modern structure that also favours repairability.

Let’s get to the heart of the matter! The most interesting feature is of course the “cursor”, Nautitech’s innovative technical platform. It allows owners to customise their boat along 3 axes: comfort, performance and budget. This means that the model is no longer set in stone, but becomes a real evolutionary model that adapts to the needs of its owner, who can customise it throughout the life of the boat.
As you can see, the philosophy of this boat is centred on its navigator. In a way, that seems obvious. Travelling the seas, circumnavigating the globe, encountering new cultures, new landscapes… All these aspects profoundly transform a sailor, who will probably want to change his or her initial project. Changes of trajectory are often more recurrent than you might think.
Finally, this new French-built model is priced from €440,000 ex VAT, which is less than its predecessor, the Nautitech 40 Open.
We look forward to seeing you in the spring of 2026, when the boat will be launched. In the meantime, get ahead of the game and pre-order your future boat today !
